On Sunday 17th July 2022 Tom HB8EVF/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Piz Lagalb and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 32 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 60, 40, 30, 20 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
