On Monday 17th October 2022, Henry IW3AGO/P, a radio amateur from Bolzano/Bozen Province in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol Region of Italy reached the summit of Plankenhorn and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 58 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
