This 30 foot bridge was once known as the Posingford Bridge in Ashdown Forest. It received its current name, Poohsticks Bridge due to its association with Winnie the Pooh author, A.A. Milne. In the 1920's Milne and her son, the real Christopher Robin dropped sticks into the water and watched them float away. This game would later show up in the Winnie the Pooh books.
The bridge built in 1907 has been put up for auction.
