On Tuesday 26th March 2024 at 12:24 UTC, Mike G3VQQ, a radio amateur from the north of England, made contact with Vladimir OK7DA/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PP Otmicska hora (OKFF-2023), on the 30m amateur radio band. Vladimir made a total of 57 contacts while he was at the park.
PP Otmicska hora (OKFF-2023), is a protected area of 5.5255 hectares located between Prague and Pilsen in the Czech Republic. It was designated as a Nature Monument in 1986 and is a Category IV IUCN Management area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and is managed to prioritise this objective.
