On Sunday 2nd October 2022, Tolis SV6KVG/P and Chryaoula-Rena SV6NOL/P, two radio amateurs from Greece reached the summit of Pr. IIias and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 14 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.

The summit of Pr. IIias is 2405 metres (7890 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
