On Saturday 1st October 2022, Tom IS0/DJ2TG/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Punta Soleadduci and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 50 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Punta Soleadduci is 1358 metres (4455 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
