On Saturday 2nd July 2022 Paul K9PM/P a radio amateur from Box Elder, SD reached the summit of Red Hill and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 38 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 20, 17, 15 and 10 metre HF amateur radio bands.
