Remains of Swanage Pier Tramway

Swanage, United Kingdom (GB)
Swanage Pier Tramway was a narrow tramway in the port town of Swanage in England. The tramway opened in 1858 and closed in the 1930s.

Even though the site has not seen trams since the 1930s it is stil possible to find 100 metres (110 yards) of the rails left. The rails are embedded in the footpath of the new pier, Steamer Pier. The orignial pier's timber supports also remain, but are in bad condition.
