Reshad Jones is a strong safety who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Jones received a scholarship and attended the University of Georgia after an impressive high school football career for Booker T. Washington in Atlanta, Georgia. At UGA, Jones was a three year letterman playing in 39 games and earning All-SEC honors his sophomore and junior years. Jones entered the 2010 NFL Draft after his junior season and was considered one of the top safety prospects.
As a Dolphin, Jones has been a extremely productive player, becoming the first Dolphin to have over 100 tackles, 4 interceptions and 2 sacks in a single season. Jones was rewarded for his production with a four year $29 million contract extension in 2013.
