The actor lives here. He began on stage and much of his work is in theater. His first screen role was in an episode of "The Twilight Zone" in 1960. He is perhaps best known for a recurring role on "Murder, She Wrote" as Sheriff Mort Metzger. In the 1980's and early 1990's, he was dubbed "The King of Commercials" for his voiceover work, most notably for Vlasic Pickles. He purchased the 6-bed, 4-bath, 6,580 sq ft home in November of 1976 for $97.5K, according to public reocrds.
