On Sunday 14th August 2022, Dale AA7OY a radio amateur from Alpine, AZ reached the summit of Rose Peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 42 contacts in total working on the 40, 30 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
