On Sunday 31st July 2022 Christoph OE/DJ7YO/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Südlicher Wieselstein and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 15 contacts in total working on the 30 metre HF amateur radio band.
