On Tuesday 7th November 2023, Bernd EA8/DL2DXA/P, a radio amateur from Germany, reached the summit of Sándara and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 201 contacts in total working on the 17m, 15m, 12m and 10m amateur radio bands.
