Sable Island (NA-063)

Sable Island is a large sand bar approx. 42km long in a crescent shape. It is approx. 175 km southeast of Nova Scotia It is home to over 500 wild horse and a large population of Grey Seals.

In their update on 31st March 2023 the latest count of contacts made during the DXpedition was 84,295.

In March 2023 a group of radio amateurs (the CY0S Team) from the US staged a DXpedition to Sable Island

The CY0S team worked closely with Parks Canada – Sable Island on the planning of their activity, as Sable Island is Canadian National Park Reserves.
