Sal Island (AF-086)

In March and April 2023, Timo a radio amateur from Finland was on holiday on Sal Island, Cabo Verde.

Timo used the callsign – D4NA while on the Island and was active on CW, SSB and Digital modes across the 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m and 10m amateur radio bands.

Sal is an island in the archipelago of Cabo Verde in the island country of the Republic of Cabo Verde. Sal Island is small low lying, sandy and flat. It is much longer, north to south, than it is wide, west to east.
