On Sunday 24th July 2022 Arthur HB9CEV/P a radio amateur from Switzerland reached the summit of Sazmartinshorn and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 42 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
