On Tuesday 5th December 2023, the British Newspaper, The Guardian, in an exclusive revealed the first results of its year-long investigation into the radioactive contamination, cyber hacking and the toxic workplace culture at the nuclear storage plant of Sellafield.

The Sellafield facility on the Cumbrian coast covers an area of 6 sq km (2 sq miles) and is the biggest store of plutonium in the world.
