In 1983, Titiek married Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo's. Titiek and Prabowo divorced in 1998 after President Soeharto resigned following widespread anti-government protests and mass riots. In 2018, Titiek resigned from Golkar Party and joined Tommy Soeharto's Berkarya Party.
