On Thursday 7th September 2023, Andy DK7MG/P & Andy DL2DVE/P, two radio amateurs from Germany, reached the summit of Soiernspitze and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 14 contacts in total working on the 2m and 30m amateur radio bands.
