On Saturday 8th July 2023, Jakub OE/OM1WS/P, a radio amateur from the Slovak Republic reached the summit of Sonntagskogel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
