The SS Sapona is a concrete-hulled cargo ship that ran aground during a hurricane in 1926. The ship is 282 feet (86 meters) long and popular with snorkelers and divers. The wreck was also featured in the 1977 horror film Shock Waves and also a key setting in Ian Fleming's novel Thunderball.
