St Helen's Bishopsgate

St Helen's Bishopsgate

London, United Kingdom (GB)
The church of St Helen's Bishopsgate has existed since the 12th century with upgrades and modernisation through the years. The church escaped the Great Fire of London and bombing during World War II but was badly damaged by terrorist bombs in 1992 and 1993 resulting in major restoration in 1995.

The small churchyard offers an oasis of calm amongst the surrounding office buildings that tower above it.
