Caught in the act this time around whilst traveling abroad visiting El Alamein, a town on Egypt's Mediterranean coast known for a decisive 1942 WWII battle, commemorated in the El Alamein War Museum with uniforms and tanks and desert plants surrounding the headstones at the El Alamein War Cemetery.

Just outside town, the German War Memorial is a fortress-like structure built over a mass grave with a central obelisk.

The Italian War Memorial is a tower inscribed inside with names of the dead.
