Stephen Hawking's Apartments

Stephen Hawking's Apartments

Cambridge, United Kingdom (GB)
Beginning in 1975, theorhetical astrophycist Stephen Hawking, and his wife Jane, lived in a small Victorian cottage on this property. In this home is where he wrote his book, "A Brief History of Time".

In 2005, this building, named after the professor, and shaped like an 'S' for his name (and to avoid the removal of several mature trees on the property), was built as student housing. It provides housing for 75 students of Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge.
