Argo is a 2012 American historical fiction film directed by Ben Affleck. This dramatization is adapted from the book The Master of Disguise by CIA operative Tony Mendez, and Joshuah Berman's 2007 Wired article "The Great Escape" about the "Canadian Caper", in which Mendez led the rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran, Iran, during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis.

This home was used for the exterior shots of the home where Ken Taylor, played by Victor Garber, the Canadian Ambassador, lived in the film.

The house seen in the BEV has since been demolished and a new home built on the site. The new 12,000 sqft home was sold for $9M to TV and film producer, Michael Sugar.
