After one month, the restaurant was selling 1,000 burritos a day. A second location was opened in 1995. The first location outside of Colorado was opened in Kansas in 1998. By 2001, McDonald's was the restaurant's largest investor and rapid expansion occurred. By 2005, there were over 500 locations. As of 2023, there are over 3,400 locations and the company is worth over one billion dollars.
