This is the former location of the home of the Sirnic's. The home has since been demolished and a parking lot put in. The house was at the rear of this lot with the church being across the street
VICTIMS 4 & 5: May 2, 1999 Weimar, TX: Late at night, the Reverend Norman J. "Skip" Sirnic, 46, and wife Karen, 47, are struck to death by a sledgehammer in the parsonage of the United Church of Christ -- located adjacent to the towns railroad. The couples red Mazda is found in San Antonio three weeks later.
I grew up in Wiemar and was in high school when this happened, it was a scary time for this small town, especially with another murder happening nearby.
