This tower controlled access to Avignon's Saint Bénezet bridge. It is the last remaining part of the fortress built in the 13th century under the orders of the King, Philippe le Bel. Offers a beautiful view of Villeneuve lez Avignon, Avignon, and the Rhône valley.
