On Monday 25th July 2022 Aleksander S57S/P a radio amateur from Slovenia reached the summit of Tosc and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 58 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF, 70 cm UHF and the 40, 30 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Tosc is 2275 metres (7464 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
