On Thursday 7th July 2022 Stavros SV2RUJ/P a radio amateur from Greece reached the summit of Turla and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 50 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
