Allso known as Aadlen Brothers Auto Wrecking, locally famous U-Pick Parts closed on January 1st, 2016. Opened in 1962, its acres of car heaps soon became a favorite of Hollywood studios, featured in hundreds of movies, TV shows, music videos and commercials, featured in movies such as “Escape From L.A.,” “In Cold Blood” and “Hangover,” television shows such as “Adam-12,” “CHiPS,” “Supergirl,” “Criminal Minds,” “Rizzoli & Isles” and “NCIS: Los Angeles.”
