On Thursday 21st March 2024 at 13:06 UTC, Jurgen DL5ZG a radio amateur from Germany made contact with Carel PA0CMU/P a radio amateur from the Netherlands who was operating from Ulvenhoutsebos (PAFF-0136) on the 30m amateur radio band. Carel made 52 contacts in total while he was in the forest.
Ulvenhoutsebos (PAFF-0136), is a protected area of 112 hectares of forest located south east of Breda in the Netherlands. It was designated under the Nature Conservation Act in 2010 and is part of Natura Network.
Natura 2000 aims to protect many of Europe's most vulnerable and threatened habitats and species.
