"Unconquered" is a 19 foot statue of Florida State mascots Chief Osceola and Renegade. The statue is supposed to reperesent the unconquered Seminole spirit. The spear of the statue is lit for certain occasions including the night before football games, award selection for an FSU student/athlete and selection into the NCAA basketball tournament. The statue was unveiled in October of 2003.
