The Henry Borden Hydroelectric Power Plant is a complex located at the foot of the Serra do Mar in Cubatão, consisting of two plants with a high head (720 m) called External and Underground, with 14 groups of generators driven by Pelton turbines (this turbine is specific for high falls, making up an installed capacity of 889 MW, for a flow of 157m³/s)
