The Dardanelos Hydroelectric Plant is a hydroelectric plant on the Aripuanã River, in the homonymous municipality, state of Mato Grosso.[1] The total installed electrical capacity is 261 MW, consisting of 4 units of 58 MW and 1 unit of 29 MW, while creating a reservoir of 0.24 km², having the best ratio between flooded area and amount of energy produced among the power plants in the Brazil.

The plant received investments of around 745 million reais, being the responsibility of the Energética Águas da Pedra consortium formed by the Neoenergia Group (51%), Eletronorte (24.5%) and Chesf (24.5%).
