The Nova Ponte Hydroelectric Power Plant is located in Minas Gerais, in the municipality of Nova Ponte, on the banks of the Araguari River and has a generation capacity of 510 MW. It has a maximum dam height of 141 meters, with an effective useful head for generating electricity of 96 m[4] and a length of 1600m.
