Usina Hidrelétrica Paulo Afonso III

The Paulo Afonso III Hydroelectric Plant, which is also known as PA III, is a Brazilian hydroelectric plant located in the state of Bahia. Located on the São Francisco River, it belongs to the Paulo Afonso Hydroelectric Complex. Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco (Eletrobras Chesf) is the owner of the power generator.

The hydroelectric plant has four generating units with a power of 198.55 mega-wwatts, with a total power of 794.2 mega-watts.
