Vandalized CIRK-FM billboard... or is it?

Edmonton, Canada (CA)
Talk about guerilla marketing; executives at Edmonton classic rock station CIRK-FM were not happy with the difficult situation they were in, as both new and old employees were let go en masse as part of a restructuring plan amid low ratings at the time this graffiti was done. Apparently, the attention-grabbing worked, with K-Rock 97.3 reverting back to its K-97 branding in July 2008 upon rebounding.
