On Sunday 2nd July 2023, Paulo CT2IWW/P, a radio amateur from Portugal reached the summit of Vaqueiro and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 32 contacts in total working on the 70cm, 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
