On Saturday 7th October 2023, Olivier F4CLS/P, a radio amateur from France, reached the summit of Vieux Chaillol and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 16 contacts in total working on the 2m and 20m amateur radio bands.
