On Sunday 2nd July 2023, Martina OY/DF3TS/P &Thomas OY/DC8TM/P, a couple of radio amateurs from Germany reached the summit of Villingadalsfjall and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 58 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
