Vintage pedestrian crossing signal in Slagelse

Slagelse, Denmark (DK)
1960 Denmark began installing trafic lights for pedestrians, but they were different as known today. They had it in words, Vent (Wait) and gå (Walk). Up to 1960 you had to look carefully if cars, trucks and busses were passing.
First in 1964 Denmark began changing them to red and green light, but in the city of Slagelse you can still see them in the city center.
