This War Memorial is dedicated to the memory of the Servicemen and Women involved in all conflicts from WW1 to the present day and is a symbol of appreciation to Wyong Shire Council from the Wyong Sub-Branch Returned & Services League of Australia.
The memorial takes the form of a tall cylindrical column of the grey volcanic rock, trachyte, which is topped with an orb of red granite. The column is mounted on a square base of trachyte. On each of the faces of the base are plaques which carry the names of the ‘Wyong Heros’ and ‘Roll of Honor’ along with a rededication tablet and those who served in Korea, Malay, Borneo, and Vietnam.
The Memorial is contained within a small, paved courtyard on the edge of Wyong Town Park.
