Wayne H. Platt's House

Platt works at Diamond Capital Advisors and has over 30 years of experience in providing high level financial and valuation advisory services. His clients have been Fortune 500 companies, middle-market companies and state and public institutions. His expertise extends to fairness opinions, solvency opinions, business and securities valuations, mergers & acquisitions, financings, and shareholder liquidity analyses.

He has served as a financial advisor in over 2,000 situations, across a wide range of industries, counseling Boards of Directors, senior management and Special Committees to Boards of Directors. Assignments have included strategic acquisitions, LBO’s, MBO’s, debt for equity swaps, and general corporate advisory services.

Prior to joining Diamond Capital, Wayne spent several years with Cappello Global and over 25 years with Houlihan Lokey, where he served on Houlihan’s International Fairness Opinion Review Committee, International Solvency Opinion Review Committee, and its Technical Standards Committee. He is a frequent speaker on various valuation topics.

Wayne has an MBA from The Wharton School, and holds the designation of Chartered Accountant (SA). He has an undergraduate degree in finance (with Honors) from the University of Cape Town.

Wayne holds series 7, 24, 63 and 79 with FINRA.

Outside of Diamond, Wayne enjoys travel and 19th Century European and American art; and, he hasn’t missed the World Cup Soccer Tournament in the last 20 years.
