The coordinates match up with Sundance, Manitoba, but info seems pretty scarce...

Kinda spooky in a way... an entire subdivision built and removed. I wonder if maybe they didn't actually build homes but used trailers which could be taken down (moved) and then reused more easily.

They absolutely did use trailers. I lived in one in 1988/89. I can see my street on this map. It was a town built for the people who worked on the Limestone damn project. All the buildings were portables. I think the only real building was part of the school and maybe the grocery store. I can't remember very well, I was 8. It's really spooky top look at that way. memories dude.

Oh, and I'm almost 100% sure that was Sundance.

Was there for (Sundance) lived in construction camp for three years. Very remote. Nearest town was Gillam MB about and hours drive west towards Thompson MB. Camp was excellent food was good work season was relatively short (March to Nov) due to extreme cold. Concrete would freeze and a as result most of the project would shut down end of Oct or beginning of Nov. 1987-1990 Mickey Nazarov carpenter/welder
