Ponte Internacional de Marco, which connects Spain and Portugal, is the world's shortest international bridge. It has a length of mere 3.2 metres (10.5 ft) and a width of 1.45 metres (4.75 ft). The wooden bridge spans the narrow Arroyo Abrilongo stream, which is the natural border between Portugal and Spain. To identify the two countries, the Portuguese end of the bridge has a "P" stone marker, while the stone marker on the Spanish side has "E" (for España) inscribed on it.

This bridge was built in 2008 with funds provided by European Union. Earlier bridges in this location were merely planks laid over the arroyo and used to get washed away during floods.
