On Saturday 30th July 2022 Matt K0MOS a radio amateur from Longmont, CO reached the summit of Ypsilon Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
