This isn't the Yucca Airstrip described in the Wiki link. It is about 2 miles to the NW. There is some speculation that this is a secret UAV site.

So actually it is mentioned. Yes, there is a great deal of speculation as to the "real" use of this strip, but certainly it's described in the Wiki link accurately.

I think the discussion you mention about it being a UAV site is quite interesting indeed! If you look around the area, there are a number of "interesting" air strips. My guess there is a lot of that going on out in the Navada desert...

What I find interesting about this base is that it seems to be built around the highly suspicious and massive "hangar one". This open ended style round door hangar is typical of ONE type of craft- a blimp. If you don't believe me look at the "goodyear airdock" in Akron, OH. SAME THING. My guess is that this is the permanent home of either a) the TR-3B, or b) the mystery stealth blimp that has been reported widely over US cities, or 3) the Aurora or Manta Ray vehcles. Notice also the two smaller hangars conveniently located on the same taxiway. These would clearly be used for fast movers- escorts that could be deployed immediately behind or in front of the blimp. This is a VERY secure and highly unreachable facility- no way to get a shot of this facility at all, and certainly would be much more secure and less visible than the Ranch.

Those types of hangers are pretty common for UAVs. I don't think it's big enough for a blimp.

The hanger is around 100 feet across. The General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper's wings are around 65 feet tip to tip.

I'd like to see this "stealth blimp". Covered with a skin of tin-foil?
