Zion Canyon (or Mukuntuweap, Mu-Loon'-Tu-Weap, and Straight Cañon) is located in Zion National Park in the southern end of Utah. The actual canyon is located in the western part of the park. The narrow gorge is carved through by the North Fork of the Virgin River.
