The English county of Norfolk on the east coast of England is known for its small villages and churches. However, it is also known for its many overgrown and ruined churches spread across the whole county. Many of these churches closed due to the Reformation that saw smaller villages be demolished, people move to bigger villages and bigger churches being used. The churches left behind were either left to be claimed by nature or demolished and used for building material.
